Sanctuary has entered into contract with NetZero Collective and Bell to deliver retrofit surveys, assessments, and installation of measures to over 500 homes in the North West. These works will be completed as part of our wider Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) 2.1 programme, which we are delivering as part of a larger Greener Futures Partnership consortium bid. Overall, we will improve more than 2,000 homes across England to EPC Band C as part of our work under SHDF, for which we will receive £12.5m in grant funding, delivering more energy efficient and comfortable homes.

Sustainability is one of our core values here at Sanctuary – our culture involves working together as one team to support our social purpose and putting our customers at the heart of everything we do. This new phase of work will help drive forward Sanctuary’s retrofit plans and ultimately increase the warmth and energy efficiency of our customers’ homes.

Rebecca Craig, Director of Sustainability and Climate Change, said: “Our work under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund is vital to our wider programme of energy efficient retrofit works, so I am delighted that we have entered into contract with both NetZero Collective and Bell to deliver this new phase of improvements in the North West.”
