The Sanctuary Apprenticeship Programme is made up of a number of different apprenticeship schemes, such as Business and Administration, or Horticulture. So, Business and Administration is a scheme on the Sanctuary Apprenticeship Programme.

I want to work in Business and Administration: Business and Administration is fundamental to the success of every organisation. It helps to keep things running smoothly and efficiently, which in turn helps to keep costs down and surplus up. In an organisation like Sanctuary, that couldn't be more important - the more surplus we make, the more we can help people and communities. So if you're looking to make a real difference, our Business and Administration Apprenticeship Scheme could be for you.

I want to go into a Trade (plumbing, carpentry etc): We have around 125,000 units of accommodation throughout England and Scotland that come in all shapes and sizes. They're all maintained at a high standard thanks to the work of our skilled teams. So if you're looking to learn a trade, our Maintenance Operations Apprenticeship Scheme will give you the chance to get a taste of a few of those different areas before deciding on where you want to specialise.

I want to go into Care work: As one of the UK's leading care providers we own and operate over 110 care homes. And as well as delivering a wide range of high-quality specialist services at each of those locations, we also provide care to people in their own homes at our extra care schemes. So our Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Scheme is a great way to develop a real breadth of experience, with full support from qualified professionals.

I want to work in Horticulture: Giving people a sense of pride in their surroundings is the key to improving their quality of life. At Sanctuary, that's one of our aims and to us, it goes beyond bricks and mortar. It means transforming whole areas, landscaping sites, creating pleasing green spaces, parks and gardens. Our Horticulture Apprenticeship Scheme will give you the opportunity to get your hands dirty and make a real difference.

I want to work in Accountancy and Finance: With a multi-million pound turnover, finance plays an important role in making the business function effectively. So if you’re looking to develop an understanding of how money can be used to make a difference, our Accountancy and Finance Apprenticeship Scheme can give you a good start.

I want to work in IT: There aren't many businesses that don't depend on IT. At Sanctuary it's true to say that it underpins everything we do, from running the payroll for over 14,000 employees to successfully managing and reporting on multi-million pound capital projects. So if you're looking to develop an understanding of a wide range of IT areas, our IT Apprenticeship Scheme will give you a head start.

Being engaged, enthusiastic, having the ability to work as part of a team and delivering excellent customer service are good attributes for any apprentice.

Every apprentice will be paid the national minimum wage for apprentices for the first year. After that the salary and benefits vary depending on the type of scheme. Please look at the current apprenticeship vacancies for more information.
