Lifts

We have lifts located in housing blocks across the country which help customers safely access their homes. We ensure that the lifts in our properties are thoroughly and regularly maintained, working closely with our contractors to make sure regular services and maintenance are being done. 

The lifts are serviced frequently by our contractors. A safety check is completed by an independent inspector every six months, in accordance with LOLER (Lift Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998). Housing Officers also do monthly inspections to make sure lifts are working properly.   

On some occasions the lifts in our homes may unfortunately break down, meaning we need to carry out some repairs.
