Housing Perks for Sanctuary customers

On this page

We’ve teamed up with Housing Perks to help save you money.

The Housing Perks app is free to use for Sanctuary residents and offers discounts at over 100 national retailers including Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Morrisons and Argos.

You can use these savings to pay less for your shop or as contributions towards your rent. Simply download the app, enter your Sanctuary Customer Number and you can start saving straight away.

App screen shows shopping deals with tabs for All, Supermarket, Home and Clothing, plus discount tiles from ASDA, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Argos.

How to sign up

  • Download the app from the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store or the Housing Perks website.
  • Enter your Customer Number. You’ll find this near the top of your rent and service charge letter, and many of the other letters we send you. If you don’t know your Customer Number, you can request it using our online form.
  • Get access to discounts, cashback and free items instantly.

How it works

  • Go to the app, search and select the brand you would like to get a discount for.
  • Enter an amount you would like to spend on that brand and press pay securely.
  • Check the information to make sure you are happy with how the discount can be used.
  • Choose how you want to pay for the gift card.
  • When the payment is successful an eGift card will appear in your wallet on the app.
  • The app enables you to use discounts on the go.

Rent contributions

The Housing Perks mobile app’s rent contributions feature enables you to put the savings you make towards your rent.

When you buy a voucher through Housing Perks the amount you save is automatically applied to your rent balance.

To use the rent contributions feature you need to:

  • Open your Housing Perks app and go to the Rent section.
  • Switch on ‘Rent Contributions’ if it's not already enabled.

Now every time you buy a voucher, the money you save will automatically be used as a contribution towards your rent.

Example

You buy a £100 Asda voucher which has a 4% discount. You pay £100 for the voucher and in return your voucher is loaded with £100 to spend in Asda. Housing Perks arrange for your £4 ‘saving’ to be paid to your rent account.

If you change your mind, you can always switch back to getting the discount straight away (in the above case, paying £96 for your £100 Asda voucher).
