Prem Gabbi is an experienced executive and non-executive director with extensive leadership, governance and financial expertise gained across private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
He brings strategic, commercial and financial expertise with strong skills in governance, financial oversight, risk management and diversity to the role. Prem started his career as a finance professional with Ernst & Young. His career in the energy industry, with almost 30 years at National Grid, took him to the USA, Europe and UK. He has a strong track record of delivering growth, particularly in the property sector, having spent nine years working for National Grid Property, initially as Finance Director before becoming Managing Director in 2021.
Alongside his executive career, Prem has built a strong non-executive portfolio, serving as a Non-Executive Director at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust since 2025, and Trustee and Board Director at Victoria Academies Trust since 2018. He is currently Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at both of these organisations. Prem was previously a Board Director on a Joint Venture between National Grid Property and Berkeley Group.
