Susanne Dodd is a qualified solicitor with more than 20 years’ experience and a career grounded in commercial law.
During two decades in local government, she led legal and governance services and served as the principal in-house legal adviser on major Private Finance Initiative (PFI), regeneration and development projects. Her local government career culminated in her appointment as Director of Legal Services and Monitoring Officer for the largest local authority in the country.
Susanne is the Director of Governance and Legal Services at Sanctuary. She brings significant strategic, commercial, legal and governance expertise, together with extensive experience as a non-executive director across the social sector.
Her board portfolio has included serving as a statutory appointee Non-Executive Director for the Regulator of Social Housing.
