Kerry is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience spanning manufacturing, construction and the wider built environment. Her career has combined executive and non-executive leadership roles across industry, academia, financial services, housing and the not-for-profit sector.
She has led research and development programmes and brings a strong blend of technical and commercial expertise, with a particular focus on delivering sustainability solutions through a whole-systems approach.
In recent years, Kerry has concentrated on the transition to a low-carbon energy system and improving the in-use performance of buildings. She has supported this work through a range of non-executive and voluntary roles, including serving on the boards of the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership and Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, as well as chairing BS 40101, the British Standard for Building Performance Evaluation of buildings in use.
Alongside her role as a Non-Executive Director at Sanctuary’s Beech Grove Homes, Kerry serves as a non-executive director for an innovative manufacturing company and provides consultancy support on a range of sustainability and energy-related matters.
Kerry was awarded an OBE in 2017 for services to energy in buildings.
