Gascoyne residents past and present came together on 29 October to celebrate our Hackney estate turning 75.

At Sanctuary we regularly engage with communities across the length and breadth of the country. One example of this is our recent work commissioning Scottish playwright Mark MacNicol’s new stage play ‘Butterflies & Storms’, which aims at addressing antisocial behaviour.

We’ve been holding events across the South West to support residents with repairs and to talk about any issues they're experiencing.

In Chester, residents and staff created a wellbeing garden in Carter Street.

Local residents from the Warndon estate in Worcester alongside the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust (WWT) have come together to start the process of turning an underused green space owned by Sanctuary into a community asset for all to enjoy.

In October our Housing Officers and Income Officers joined Property and Estate Services colleagues at Lerwick Croft Community Hall in Bicester. The event was well attended by residents and showed the power of collaboration and community spirit.
