In October our Housing Officers and Income Officers joined Property and Estate Services colleagues at Lerwick Croft Community Hall in Bicester. The event was well attended by residents and showed the power of collaboration and community spirit. It was great to be able to hear from so many customers in a friendly and familiar setting. We were able to give advice and information on everything from leaking taps and overflowing guttering, to maximising your income, while also tackling some estate and repair issues there and then.
Housing Officer Thereasa Lockwood said: “It was great getting everyone together and bringing life to a community hall we’ve been unable to use for many months.”
In August, our engagement event at St Hugh’s Close in Banbury saw us tackle the gardens to make them weed free. A member of our Maintenance team also attended to carry out minor repairs and improvements that residents had been unable to complete themselves.
And in July at Hart Place, Bicester, our Housing and Estate teams came together to breathe new life into the communal gardens.
