We’re looking for two customers to join our Group Housing Board and, as part of this role, to chair either our Resident Advisory Panel or Resident Scrutiny Panel.
This is a chance to be a strong voice for our customers, driving the right decisions and delivering the right results with our Group Housing Board. This opportunity is open to you regardless of whether you’ve been involved before.
Together, you’ll help us ensure we’re meeting the standards set by housing regulators in England and Scotland, including the Consumer Standards.
You’ll also make sure we’re listening to what matters most to our residents.

Interested?
We want to hear from you, even if you haven't been involved before — we're looking for customers with a range of lived experience.
Please complete our form to express an interest by Wednesday, 13 August or get in touch if you have a question. If there is anything you would like us to do differently to support you during the application process, please let us know.
We’ll let you know if you’re shortlisted by 12 September and we anticipate the interviews will take place between 22 and 26 September by online video call.
If this role isn’t for you, there are other ways to get involved in our work.
Our Boards and Panels
Group Board
Our Group Board’s primary role is to define and ensure compliance with Sanctuary’s values and objectives. They set our strategic direction and make sure that policies and plans are in place to achieve our objectives. They also establish and oversee a framework of delegation and systems of control.
Group Housing Board
Our Group Housing Board is a committee of our Group Board. It’s tasked with making sure our ‘landlord services’ are efficient and meet our customers’ needs. This is the board that has the delegated responsibility for governing our social housing, covering England, Scotland and Sanctuary Supported Living.
Resident Scrutiny Panel
Our Resident Scrutiny Panel positively challenges us to help us improve. This year, we’ve asked the panel to help us create new customer service standards and design new delivery methods. They work closely with our Group Board, Group Housing Board, and senior team, enabling diverse residents’ views to influence our services.
Resident Advisory Panel
Our Resident Advisory Panel helps us develop new policies, strategies and ways of working. They work closely with our Group Board, Group Housing Board, and senior team. This diverse body of residents uses its voice to ensure that our customers’ views are central to our decision-making.
