Sanctuary is proud to support veterans, reservists and their families. We have launched our offer for veterans, bringing together our services in one place for the first time.

Sanctuary has been a long supporter of veterans, signing the Armed Forces Covenant in 2017 and recently being accredited at Bronze level of the Defence Employers Scheme.

Katie Poole, Sanctuary’s Veterans Champion and Head of Housing, said: “As a large housing association and care provider, we have a range of ways we can support and work with veterans.

“From providing interesting, stimulating jobs with real career prospects and a supportive culture to housing veterans and their families, we have a lot to offer and we’re keen to do more.”

In addition to employing and housing veterans, we also provide enhanced paid-for leave for reservists to enable them to take part in training and duties during work time.
